Responsibilities
- Vehicle Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Diagnostics : Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair mechanical problems.
- Repair Services : Conduct repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other key vehicle systems.
- Customer Communication : Clearly explain vehicle issues and maintenance requirements to clients.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance services.
- Parts Ordering : Identify and order parts required for necessary repairs.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
Certification : ASE certification preferred, or equivalent professional experience in automotive repair and maintenance.Experience : Previous experience working as an automotive technician, preferably with experience in a dealership environment.Technical Skills : Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, steering, and electrical.Problem-Solving : Strong diagnostic abilities and the capability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.Communication : Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.Customer Service : A commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining a positive customer experience.Adaptability : Ability to work in a dynamic environment and keep up with new automotive technologies and industry trends.Physical Capability : Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
