Remote Senior L2 DevOps Engineer - Taiko Labs

Taiko Labs is at the forefront of blockchain innovation, developing the Taiko ZK-EVM, a Layer 2 solution that scales Ethereum by faithfully emulating its technical and non-technical characteristics. Our solution, an Ethereum-equivalent (Type 1) ZK-EVM, enhances the performance of Ethereum by supporting all EVM opcodes within a decentralized, permission-less, and secure Layer 2 / 3 framework.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior L2 DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.

About the role

As a Senior L2 DevOps Engineer, your main responsibilities will include :

• Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient DevOps processes and tools for our Layer 2 infrastructure.
• Maintaining testnet deployments on AWS and GCP, and overseeing Bridge relayer, provers, and dapp (UI) deployment, including data migration.
• Assisting developers in integration-testing Taiko protocol in a multi-chain environment.
• Ownership of Taiko client software releases, including Docker images and maintaining Vercel deployment integrated with GitHub workflows.
• Monitoring and ensuring the reliability and security of our Layer 2 solutions, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Managing cloud-based infrastructure and resources efficiently to ensure high availability and scalability.
