Job Summary :

This position's responsibilities will include setting up, loading, operating, disassembling, and cleaning the mixer. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following : general maintenance duties, cleaning mixing room areas, and weighing / packing when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Transports pallets of batch ingredients from the weighing room to the mixer and

checks for batch accuracy.

Loads ingredients into mixing machine and operates the mixer according to the

batch instructions for sequence and timing.

Prepares and stages a tote bag or separate shipping bags under the mixer for

filling.

Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and releases the

product from the mixer into tote bags.

Takes a labeled sample of each batch to the table in the packing area for quality control testing.

Delivers bags to the packing area.

Disassembles, cleans, blows dry, and reassembles the mixing machine between

each product change and at the end of the work shift.

Washes and dries totes and washes down work area daily.

Stages pallets in the work area as necessary.

Performs additional duties such as weighing and packing as necessary.

Wash down work area daily. Adhere to any and all sanitation guidelines as directed by management and or QC.

Job Requirements :

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout entire shift.

Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, lifting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Ability to work as team member and meet assigned deadlines.

Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools, and equipment.

May be required to use pallet jack.

May be required to obtain internal forklift certification.

Perform any and all other duties as instructed by leadership and management.

Mandatory Job Qualifications :

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Food processing experience preferred.
