About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid RN license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP required

Must-Have : AWHONN Advanced or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 2 years required

Description :

TMC orientation is held twice a month.

Upcoming orientation dates include 9 / 22 / 2025, 10 / 6 / 2025, and 10 / 20 / 2025.

A minimum of 2 years of RN Labor and Delivery experience is required.

Float is required based on census.

Coverage is required every other weekend.

Patient ratio is 1 : 2.

No locals are accepted.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Charting system experience with Epic is required.

Community hospital experience is preferred.

Travel experience is required.

Candidates must possess the following certifications : ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, and NRP.

Skills required include administration of blood and blood products, amnioinfusion, anticoagulants, assist with high-risk delivery, assist with sterile speculum exam, breastfeeding support, cesarean section, drawing venous blood, epidural anesthesia, postpartum hemorrhage management, and use of external fetal monitoring.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.

The unit accommodates infants and adults with a daily census of approximately 14 patients.

Special procedures in the unit include cesarean sections and D&C.

The daily operational environment includes 16 rooms and 16 beds.

Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated.

Travelers are eligible for consideration if they have only one DUI on record, and the DUI incident occurred one year or more ago.

Work history that includes any previous locations will have to be sent over for rehire status approval.
