Job Description : Medical Physicist
Salary : $174,000 - $254,000 annually
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide expertise in medical physics within a clinical environment, ensuring optimal application of therapy physics.
- Conduct quality assurance procedures and performance evaluations on radiological equipment.
- Collaborate with clinical teams for patient treatment planning and delivery.
- Participate in the development and implementation of safety protocols.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical technologies and treatments.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and interns in the field of medical physics.
- Perform regular assessments and audits of equipment and treatment processes.
- Document and report findings in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with national and local safety regulations.
- Work with stakeholders to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in medical physics or a related field.ABR / CCPM Board certification or Board eligible in therapy physics.Experience :
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.Maximum of 1 year of relevant experience is acceptable.Skills :
Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality assurance in medical physics practices.
