Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Title

Perform in-depth data analysis using Business Intelligence ("BI") tools and prepare analytical reports to aid in large food service company's decision making. Research and analyze covered food categories' market performance and disseminate key findings to managers and vendors. Use SQL Server to extract data from multiple sources to monitor sales conversion, retention trends and develop pricing strategies for cutting costs and maximizing profitability. Build user friendly dashboards and interactive reports using Looker to keep track of quarterly marketing promotions, sales conversion, and inventory positions. Support category managers with data points in vendor meetings and annual strategic planning meetings. Collaborate with Procurement and BI teams to build intelligence portals to analyze key data points and solve business problems. Perform vendor pricing analysis using Power Query and Power Pivot to support item conversion goals and increase company's tracking margin. Document technical specifications and processes for building BI reports and dashboards. Requires : Masters in Business Administration or Analytics, plus 1 year of data analysis experience, and proficiency with SQL Server, Advanced Excel, and Tableau / PowerBI or Looker.
