Job Summary :
The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a full-time Business Services Professional. This position will be an on-site role located in Aurora, Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus. A hybrid schedule of three days in office may be available depending on the success of the candidate in this role. Tasks assigned to this position require critical thinking, extensive attention to detail, and the ability to independently resolve observed discrepancies.
This position will support faculty and business administrative services in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Activities included day-to-day administrative operations; calendar management, preparing administrative reports; travel management; human resources; and compliance with administrative and regulatory policies.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide administrative support to multiple faculty members and the division administrative director. This requires the management of complex faculty schedules to include clinical activities, administrative responsibilities, anticipating potential conflicts, and facilitating increased efficiency with effective and consistent communications.
Manage faculty travel and reimbursement.
Assist with faculty credentialing / licensing at multiple facilities and state agencies.
Assist faculty with promotion / dossier preparation.
Arrange and manage department level meetings, reserve meeting rooms, coordinate schedules, record / distribute meeting minutes, order food and tidy up spaces as needed.
Cross train to provide backup support for residency and medical student activities including recruitment, scheduling, and onboarding.
Purchase office supplies, laboratory supplies, and arrange parcel shipping.
Adhere to and provide guidance as it relates to policies and procedures for the University of Colorado, CU Medicine, and other related governing bodies.
Work Location :
Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Entry Professional :
A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Intermediate Professional :
A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
1 year of professional level experience in operational support or program administration.
Substitution : A combination of education and related technical / paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Senior Professional :
A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
2 years of professional level experience in operational support or program administration.
Substitution : A combination of education and related technical / paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications :
Professional experience in business operations.
Experience working in a healthcare or academic setting.
Experience with University of Colorado systems including Concur, HCM and CU Marketplace
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently and be flexible.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, technically adept, software savvy.

The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as
Entry - $49,973 - $63,566
Intermediate - $54,383 - $69,175
Senior - $58,792 - $74,784
The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
