Job description2+ years of bar management experience in a high-volume venue Proven ability to lead and develop a team Strong knowledge of inventory control and bar costing Current Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server Certification (where required by law) Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to create weekly staff schedules that balance labor targets and team needs Comfortable conducting and overseeing regular bar inventory counts Proactively manage vendor relationships and liquor orders Hands-on support during service—leading from the floor, not behind a desk Collaborate with events or marketing teams on drink specials and seasonal menus Handle guest issues swiftly to ensure a positive experience Experience with POS systems and bar management software (e.g., BevSpot, Toast) Knowledge of current mixology trends and cocktail innovation Prior experience opening a new bar or launching beverage programs Passion for staff training and implementing service standards Hospitality or business management education
