Float Customer Service Representative (Entry-Level) – Ferndale-BasedLocation : Home base in Ferndale, MITravel Required : Will float to Detroit, Madison Heights, and potentially WarrenSchedule : Monday–Thursday : 8 : 30am–5 : 00pmFriday : 8 : 30am–4 : 30pmPosition Overview : We are seeking a dependable and adaptable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support multiple clinic locations. This is an entry-level role with full training provided at the Ferndale location. The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling between sites and working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.Key Responsibilities : Answer incoming calls and assist patients with insurance, product eligibility, and cost inquiriesCoordinate clinical staff schedulesVerify insurance and obtain authorizations / referralsProcess orders and maintain order statusDischarge patients and manage medical recordsPrep documents for imagingProvide face-to-face customer serviceSupport patients of all ages, including those receiving prosthetics, orthotics, and mastectomy careTravel & Mileage Info : Mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile for travel to / from assigned locations and during the workdayTravel time begins once driving to the assigned locationMust be willing to use personal vehicle for work-related travelDeclaration page of auto insurance must be submitted prior to resume submissionMust have a valid MI driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving recordRequirements : Must-Haves : Strong-willed and service-oriented personalityAbility to handle emotionally challenging conversationsWillingness to travel and adapt quickly to changing assignmentsPositive attitude and pleasant demeanorBasic computer skills and ability to learn new systemsClean driving record and current auto insuranceNice-to-Haves : Medical or insurance customer service experienceExperience in the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) industryFace-to-face customer service experiencePay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
