Position Summary : We are seeking a Machine Operator Helper for our client close to Texarkana, TX. In this role you will run production on the plasma, keep up with inventory usage, label produced parts with appropriate customer information and order number. Responsibilities : Set up and operate the CNC plasma table, loading metal sheets or plates and ensuring the machine cuts according to the job specifications. Calibrate machine settings, manage program files, and set parameters like speed and amperage. Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on the machinery. Work with other teams, such as fabrication and welding, to ensure a smooth production workflow. Requirements : Ability to read and understand blueprints, interpret CAD files, and operate CNC machinery. A strong focus on accuracy to ensure parts are cut correctly. Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues like poor cut quality. Physical : Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds). Understanding and adherence to all safety procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Requires prior experience in manufacturing or operating CNC equipment.
