At Motor Services Hugo Stamp (MSHS) and Pacific Power Group, we deliver essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to sustain critical operations in the marine engine and backup power generation sectors. We're seeking an Operations Coordinator to support workshop service operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, high-quality customer experience, and continuous process improvement. About the Role :
As an Operations Coordinator , you will :
Open and manage SWOs, ensure clear communication with service managers, and resolve discrepancies.
Accurately record time, travel expenses, and service bookings; issue clean invoices within five business days.
Oversee work quality, productivity, and workshop processes to improve end-product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Design and implement efficiency-boosting processes, track technician safety and time efficiency, and monitor service margins.
Keep stakeholders informed on project schedules and proactively resolve service-related issues.
Identify opportunities to enhance service operations and support the growth and cross-training of workshop staff.
What You Bring :
Education & Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, technical science, or a related field – or equivalent experience (minimum of 3 years in a related role).
Experience in the maritime and energy industries is preferred.
Key Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with reading technical drawings (standard and metric measurements) and interpreting technical documents is a plus.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
Ability to perform multiple tasks, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Compensation & Benefits :
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on skills and experience).
