ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Shop Foreman and Manager’s to maintain all Heavy-Duty Equipment and keep it in safe, working order.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records of all work done to equipment.
• Other Duties as assigned.

DOT COVERED / SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

This position does perform DOT “safety-sensitive” functions (as defined under 49 CFR Part 40) and is subject to all federal requirements related to Department of Transportation requirements for those performing, or on-call to perform, “safety-sensitive” functions.  Employees must provide a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Job is performed outdoors with almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, fumes, smoke and / or loud noises.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. Must have reliable transportation to / from work.
