To maintain and perform repairs on all plant production and auxiliary equipment ensuring that quality parts are being manufactured. Perform the preventative and predictive maintenance on all production and auxiliary plant equipment as assigned by the Maintenance Manager according to the Equipment
- Maintenance Schedule, with the purpose of minimizing equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
- Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
- Troubleshoot, isolate and repair manufacturing machinery & equipment
- Basic troubleshooting of both welding equipment and systems
- Basic knowledge / troubleshooting of lubrication processes (correct type, function, when to use, etc)
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality
- Basic knowledge of welding applications (MIG, Spot, Stud, etc.)
- Complete and manage work orders via the Plex systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and provide input on updates to preventative maintenance schedules (with guidance from a Weld Maintenance Mechanic level II or level III)
- Basic level robotic experience (robot movements, navigate / troubleshoot common basic level issues utilizing the teach pendant
- Basic level knowledge of lubrication processes (functionality, correct type, when to use)
- Ability to use common hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, feeler gages, etc)
Experience
