- This position is available for our 85 Devonshire St, Boston, MA 02109 location downtown
The Packaging Associate's responsibilities are outlined below. Key aspects of the Packaging Associates job include taking and filling orders for the retail department, intaking and preparing shipments for sale, and auditing and maintaining the integrity of the store's inventory.
Duties :
Filling and preparing orders from online and the retail floor for customersTaking in shipments of cannabis and weighing, inputting, packaging and labeling shipments for sale
Performing regular inventory audits to ensure accuracyPerforming work-station or assembly line type operationsFollows and executes compliant practices in accordance with state regulations and Pure Oasis' standard operating procedures.Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and rooted in educationResponsibilities :
Maintains extensive knowledge of Cannabis productsIs knowledgeable about MA compliance and reporting regulationsMaintains a clean, safe, and well managed work stationAcknowledges any inventory issues and properly reports them to managementWorks effectively in a team environmentCompletes other duties as assigned in a timely and appropriate mannerQualifications :
Extremely high attention to detail, including the ability to detect quality defects and perform accurate counts and measurementsDemonstrated history of strong attendance, including the ability to adhere to a strict regular scheduleAbility to work within a team and cultivate long-term working relationships, maintains a positive attitude in a busy departmentMust be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently, bend, stoop and twist with or without reasonable accommodationFun attitude and strong work ethicSupervision :
Works under the general supervision of the Inventory Manager and General ManagerThis position is not responsible for supervising other employeesRequired Skills :
At least 21 years of age.Must have High School Diploma or GED to be consideredExcellent communication and customer service skillsComputer operating skillsExperience in a complex, fast-paced environmentAbility to genuinely and respectfully connect with coworkers and visitorsDesire to learn more about cannabisOrganization and planning skillsStrong operational skills in a service environmentAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingAbility to build relationships both internally as well as in the communityAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationAbility to work a mostly set and reliable scheduleAvailable to work occasional weekend hours as neededReliable TransportationMust have the ability to successfully pass a background check annually.Must have the ability for approval of agent registration card from the Cannabis Control Commission.All employees are required to be vaccinated to keep everyone safe.Job Types : Full-time, Part-time
