Senior Cloud DevOps Architect

Job Description :

Pay Range : $75hr - $80hr

Responsibilities :

• As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, the candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-native infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• The candidate works closely with software engineers, cybersecurity teams, and system architects to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines and cloud environments supporting mission-critical aerospace applications.
• Architect and maintain scalable AWS cloud environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Design and manage automated CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Ensure zero-downtime deployments and rollback strategies.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize orchestration for high availability and performance.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices to meet aerospace cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement remediation strategies.
• Set up observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for performance and reliability.
• Implement cost optimization strategies aligned with FinOps principles.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, QA, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
• Certification as an AWS DevOps Engineer will be highly desirable.
