Job DescriptionJob Description

Strategic Safety Solutions, a small environmental, health and safety consulting firm is seeking a qualified safety representative that can provide on-site environmental, health and safety oversight on 3 NYC DEP Projects.

Work at Tannersville Wastewater Treatment Plant will start immediately.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have At least 8-10 years of experience in construction with at least 5 years in construction EHS Management and completed the following training :

• Completed the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Training (within the past 5 years),
• 40-hour HAZWOPER / 8-hour annual refresher
• Confined space entry training, RCRA and DOT hazardous waste training
• Excavation and trenching training
• Lockout / tagout training.

Candidate must have ability to enter enter data on to a computer and upload reports.

Previous work experience with the NYC DEP a plus. Candidate must have requisite experience and training or will not be considered for position.
