California Licensed Behavioral Counselor

A company is looking for a Behavioral Intake Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct behavioral health screenings and triage calls / chats based on mental health and substance use symptoms

Provide crisis intervention and ensure safety for individuals in distress

Document all interactions in a clinical manner and maintain compliance with health department requirements

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree or Doctorate in human services such as psychology or sociology

2+ years of post-graduate clinical experience providing direct services

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Cleared status with a licensing entity if registered, with no pending corrective actions

Experience working with diverse populations and various psychological disorders
