Safety Manager – Construction | Brentwood, TN
Pay : $45–$53 / hour + $178 daily stipend (for full 8-hour workdays)
Hours : 60 / 60 / 50 hour rotation – overtime opportunities available
Location : Brentwood, Tennessee
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a large-scale construction project in Brentwood, TN. This role requires a proven safety professional who can ensure compliance with all OSHA standards, company safety programs, and site-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to promoting a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures on-site
- Conduct job site inspections, hazard analyses, and safety audits
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site orientations
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Maintain OSHA and company documentation and reporting standards
- Collaborate with site leadership and subcontractors to maintain compliance
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications or credentials :
Certified Safety Professional ( CSP )Associate Safety Professional ( ASP )Construction Health and Safety Technologist ( CHST )Occupational Health and Safety Technologist ( OHST )Graduate or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health ( IOSH )Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction ( STS-C )Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or a related fieldPreferred :
OSHA 500 Trainer CertificationAdditional Requirements
Must pass a 10-panel drug test and background check prior to employmentStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsExperience managing safety programs in heavy construction or industrial settingsCompensation & Schedule
