The Infant Teacher at Children's Land is entrusted with the vital responsibility of nurturing the youngest members of our community. This role demands a passionate individual who is adept at fostering a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where infants can flourish both emotionally and intellectually. The candidate should be well-versed with the DCFS requirements in Illinois to ensure the highest standards of childcare are met.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Create and follow lesson plans that foster physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
• Track infants' developmental milestones and maintain detailed records of their progress.
• Offer nurturing care, which includes feeding, changing diapers, and facilitating nap times.
• Always uphold the safety of infants by strictly adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic classroom environment to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses.
• Communicate with parents to keep them informed about their child's development and address any concerns.
• Work harmoniously with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and cooperative working environment.
• Craft and utilize educational materials to stimulate infants' senses and encourage learning.
• Organize activities that promote exploration and the development of motor skills.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in infant education and care.
