Overview SVP, Marketing & Communications at Lakeland Health System, Lakeland, FL (30 miles east of downtown Tampa). The health system operates Lakeland Regional Medical Center, one of the largest hospitals in Florida with 910 licensed beds.
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the SVP of Marketing & Communications is responsible for the strategic leadership, vision, and execution of Lakeland Regional Health’s overall marketing, branding, and communications strategy. This leader will oversee all marketing, branding, digital, and public relations initiatives, aligning them with LRH’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
Qualifications 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, or public relations in healthcare or a related industry.
Proven experience in strategic marketing, brand management, and media relations at an executive level.
Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Ability to navigate complex environments and collaborate effectively with executive leaders, board members, and external stakeholders.
Maintains an active membership in the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) and participates in the society’s educational programs and events.
