Overview
Equipment Technician (Semiconductor) to join our wafer fabrication team. In this role, you will work with the specialized machines used in chip manufacturing, including photolithography (light-based printing) and dry etch (plasma cutting) tools, to ensure they run smoothly in a cleanroom environment. You'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and support engineering teams with testing and modifications. Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and repair semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment (photolithography and dry etch tools).Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.Troubleshoot malfunctions using schematics, diagrams, and specialized test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, diagnostic software).Support engineers in equipment setup, testing, modifications, and experimental processes.Assist with the design, construction, and assembly of components as needed.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and performance testing.Follow all cleanroom protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and solve recurring issues.Carry out additional duties as required to support wafer fabrication operations.Qualifications
5–7 years of hands-on technical experience.Experience maintaining semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment (photolithography and / or dry etch tools preferred).Prior wafer fab cleanroom experience strongly desired.Strong background in electronics or military electronics is a plus.Proficient in MS Office for reporting and documentation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Authorized to work in the U.S. – Sponsorship cannot be provided now or in the futureSirius Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
