Senior Accountant

Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. This role is pivotal in supporting the Accounting Manager and ensuring the accuracy of financial operations, particularly in intercompany transactions and month-end closings. Responsibilities :

• Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting across entities.
• Assist the Accounting Manager with day-to-day operations, acting as a reliable point of support.
• Lead the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with the team during system implementation projects, ensuring smooth transitions and data integrity.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, offering insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve interdepartmental communication.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide support in audits and other financial reviews as needed.
