Job descriptionProvide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor access control systems, alarm panels, cameras, and other dispatch-related tools; acknowledge events and route notifications per post orders. Receive calls for service from employees, contractors, and / or visitors; gather key details and dispatch appropriate resources following site protocols. Coordinate radio, phone, and / or computer-aided dispatch communications with roving personnel, site leadership, and local emergency services when needed. Document dispatch activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in logs and reports; escalate time-sensitive concerns through the chain of command. Support utility operations by controlling entry to restricted areas, verifying identification, and directing authorized personnel to the proper location. Maintain situational awareness of weather, outages, and facility status updates that may impact operations; share relevant information with supervisors and / or operations contacts. Conduct periodic checks of critical areas such as control rooms, loading areas, and exterior gates to help identify hazards, unauthorized access attempts, and / or suspicious activity. Assist with emergency notifications, accountability calls, and / or communications during drills and real-world events as directed by site procedures. Operate and maintain dispatch post equipment and records, reporting malfunctions, gaps, and / or maintenance needs to supervision. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Have 5 years of industrial security experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department services experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Description
As a Security Officer - Power Dispatch Driver in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a critical utilities location, you will monitor security-related alarms and camera feeds, coordinate responses, document activity, and support operations with clear, professional communication. You will help maintain a visible, responsive presence through routine patrols and timely reporting while delivering customer-focused service. This is a driving post.
