Building Maintenance / Groundskeeper (Springdale L.H. Garage)

Job Description

Job Details :

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, and landscaping tasks, while maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Job Summary :

• Mow grass as needed.
• Trim edges as needed.
• Paint assigned areas.
• Keep outside area clean.
• Report any breakdown of equipment used to supervisor.
• Install and maintain various landscape plots as designated.
• Shovel snow and ice in winter.
• Rake leaves.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Functions :

Must follow all rules and regulations in using various grounds keeping chemicals, including protective wear and maintain equipment.  Be able to establish preventative maintenance schedule.

Background of landscaping or small engine knowledge would be helpful but not required.

Work Experience : Must have 3 months of work with single employer in last 6 months.
