Material Handler Forklift Operator

Full-Time | MondayFriday | 8 AM5 PM

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll support daily warehouse operations while receiving paid training on metals and forklift certification during the first two months. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Operating a sit-down forklift to pull and move materials
• Learning and identifying various types of metals
• Measuring materials to ensure order accuracy
• Setting up and programming saws
• Making precise cuts and completing full cutting orders
• Assisting customers with their material needs
• Entering orders into the computer system

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of warehouse experience
• 6+ months experience measuring materials
• 6+ months of forklift experience
• Ability to read and use a tape measure
• Basic computer skills (for order entry)
• Valid driver's license & clear MVR
• Willingness to learn and grow in a warehouse environment

Nice to Have (Not Required):

• Experience in metals or the steel industry
• Ability to use calipers (training provided)
• Prior experience cutting metals

You'll also complete a basic math and fraction test as part of the hiring process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of POMPANO BEACH, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
