As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the campus, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing friendly, professional support to all individuals on site. You will also assist with access control and badge verification, contributing to a welcoming and orderly atmosphere. Pay Rate : $17.30 / Hour

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or activities
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency personnel when appropriate
  • Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Riding a bike for long periods of time is preferred
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
