Organize paint jobs to provide the most productive repair system. Refinishes damaged vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and standards. Conducts refinish work according to I-CAR standards. Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship before and after painting. Notifies management of any unsatisfactory work before starting the paint process. Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in proper state of repair. Maintains an organized, clean and safe working environment. Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Understands, keeps up to date, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Cooperates and assists other personnel in the prepping of vehicles. Ability to color match nonblended panels. Inspects paint match before returning to technician for reassembly. 2+ years of experience in automotive painting as a collision repair technician. Technical school or in-shop experience. Required to complete continued education classes for I-Car certification. ASE, OEM Training / Certifications are helpful. Ability to deliver a world-class, customer-centric experience. Ability to work with little supervision. Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment. Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers. Must be willing to work in a drug-free / smoke-free workplace. Driver's License (Required)
