Expanding Michigan firm with a critical role for a Survey CAD Technician is hiring in Novi!

Responsibilities :

• Perform basic mathematics calculations (pipe slopes, areas, volumes, etc.)
• Detail / develop construction plans
• Maintain uniformity in work products by reading / following CAD Standards and Operating Procedures (standards, conventions, guidelines)
• Review / check plans for accuracy
• Provide an estimate of man hours required to complete CAD projects
• Process engineering calculations and site plan / utility layout with minimal supervision
• Process existing / proposed profiles
• Plot legal descriptions for parcels, easement, and right of ways
• Import survey data into Civil 3D
• Produce boundary, topographical, ALTA and as-built surveys
• Generate stake-out coordinates / plot information for field crew

Requirements :

Salary is commensurate with experience.
