Linux Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Position : Linux System Administrator - Tier 2 Clearance Required : TS / SCI with CI Polygraph About the Role : Advance your career as a Linux Systems Administrator, working on critical cloud initiatives that support government operations. Responsibilities : Design & Develop : Implement and support robust cloud initiatives tailored to customer needs. Collaborate : Work within an Agile team to maintain program-owned applications (JIRA, Atlassian, BitBucket, RocketChat). Innovate : Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to define network requirements and optimize user metrics. Maintain : Oversee infrastructure patching and OS baseline hardening for multiple Linux environments. Support : Ensure compliance with security standards in partnership with Enterprise Services. Qualifications : Basic Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2-4 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role. CompTIA Security certification required. Strong Linux expertise and familiarity with infrastructure management best practices. 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, RocketChat). Active TS / SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph. Preferred Skills : Experience with cloud-based architectures and other cloud vendors. Understanding of automated testing and monitoring processes. Familiarity with Engineering Review Boards and Change Management.
