Role Overview
The Training and Exercise (T&E) Coordinator serves as the program supervisor for the IDOH Division of Emergency Preparedness (DEP) Training and Exercise Section. This position leads statewide planning, implementation, and evaluation of preparedness trainings and exercises to enhance the readiness and capability of public health and healthcare partners. The coordinator provides strategic oversight, ensures alignment with federal guidance, including the FEMA Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP), and Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP). This position supervises the T&E Specialist to ensure quality and compliance across all preparedness activities. The coordinator collaborates with internal IDOH divisions, local health departments (LHDs), healthcare coalitions (HCCs), hospitals, and emergency management partners to ensure Indiana's public health and healthcare systems are trained, exercised, and equipped to respond effectively to all-hazards emergencies.
Salary Statement : The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
