THE ROLE

Principal UX Designer

We're looking for a Principal UX Designer to join our team - an essential hire to help build a best-in-class product design team at Quince. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to help build a best-in-class UX discipline from the ground up - while immediately impacting the core Quince e-commerce experience.

This is a hands-on IC role for someone who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution : shaping UX vision, designing elevated end-to-end experiences, and setting new standards for craft, systems, and usability. You'll thrive here if you're energized by a fast-moving startup environment but have a clear vision for how to scale design maturity and process over time.

You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand leadershipto deliver thoughtful, data-informed experiences across web, iOS, and Android. The work spans key e-commerce flows from product discovery and PDPs to checkout, order management, and post-purchase touchpoints, helping define how design drives both customer satisfaction and business growth.

You'll join a small but mighty design team at a pivotal moment - bridging the gap between execution and strategic UX direction. The ideal person brings experience from more mature product organizations and can introduce structure, systems, testing rigor, and design craft, while staying hands-on and adaptable within a fast-growing startup. All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

Pay Range

$240,000-$260,000 USD
