Preventative Maintenance Technician - PCR / Lemay (Frederickson, WA)

PCR / Lemay, a division of Waste Connections, is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support our fleet operations in Frederickson, Washington.

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our fleet of garbage trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals with mechanical experience who are ready to step into a PM mechanic position. If you've got a strong work ethic and a desire to advance, we'll provide on-the-job training to help you grow into a full diesel mechanic.

Schedule :

Monday to Friday | 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

Overtime : 3-10 hours / week on average

Compensation :

Base Pay : $29.00 - $30.25 / hour

Shift Differential : +$1.50 / hour

Total Starting Pay : $30.50 - $31.75 / hour

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventative maintenance on refuse trucks, trailers, and yellow iron equipment
• Use fleet maintenance software to manage service records and inspections
• Conduct safety checks and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant shop
• Collaborate with drivers to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Complete repairs based on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
