Business Development Representative
Under the direction of the Regional Business Development Director, you will be responsible for expanding Systemair’s reach and revenues within a specific geographical area. This business development position involves a mix of sales, marketing, and strategic planning to cultivate and grow relationships with customers and partners within a specific target market. You will identify potential customer segments, establish relationships with clients, and achieve sales targets to ensure Systemair meets the region’s demands and expectations.
- Identify potential business opportunities through research, cold outreach, and networking.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals.
- Present company products and services showcasing their value in meeting customer needs.
- Set up meetings between potential clients and the sales team.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in target companies.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance Systemair’s presence in the market.
- Responsible for all 3rd party rebate programs or any builder program activities in their set territory.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, product development, etc. to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads while ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional activities and materials specific to the territory.
- Suggest product enhancements or new products based on market demands and customer feedback.
- Participate in strategic discussions to align efforts with broader business goals.
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Track and report on sales activities, including lead status, customer interactions, and opportunity progress.
Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience in a sales representative or business development role, HVAC industry preferred.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.High level of autonomy and self-motivation.Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills.Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft 365.A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
