A strong candidate in this role is someone who excels at taking a deep dive into existing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing elegant solutions that make a real impact. This individual should be comfortable on the shop floor and in front of a spreadsheet, collaborating with engineers to develop a new fixture in the morning and working with software teams to enhance a program in the afternoon. Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement : Evaluate current processes, employee tasks, and responsibilities to ensure the highest levels of efficiency.
  • Design efficient production processes that reduce general waste and productivity waste.
  • Interface with many levels of people within the company to determine the best methods to improve efficiencies and create / modify programs to institute changes.
  • Advise on and develop new software tools, mechanical jigs, and fixtures to increase efficiency and quality.

Systems & Data Management

  • Enhance existing programs / systems to improve flow and accuracy.
  • Work with manufacturing to maximize the efficiency of our shop support software.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for key operational processes and systems.
  • Cross-Functional Support & Collaboration

  • Assist engineering, manufacturing, and PMs with best-practice manufacturing techniques.
  • Provide support for inventory management, logistics coordination, or supply chain tasks as needed.

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of manufacturing, operations, business analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Windows, MS Office, Google Suite, Internet, and PC hardware.
  • Must be able to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with end users and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills to deal with customer needs and competing priorities.
  • Working Conditions

  • Performance of duties mainly in the office and hybrid between home and office with occasional visits to job sites to support field personnel.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

  • Salary Range : $80,000-$115,000 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and / or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
