Install Site Leader

The Site Leader coordinates build and installation at company and / or at customer facilities. At Company Facility : Collects all necessary documentation prior to the start of the installation (layout, mechanical detail drawings, controls drawings). Visits the customer site to make sure that there will be no problems with the installation of equipment. Raises concerns up front to the Assembly Supervisor and / or the Installation Manager / Supervisor. Adheres to the installation schedule and raises concerns about timing problems, submitting concerns to the PM / PE and the Installation Manager / Supervisor. If involved in the build, reviews all materials and Client requirements and raises concerns as early as possible to the PM / PE and the Installation Manager / Supervisor. Attends the internal buyoff and creates a concerns list to avoid problems onsite; submits a list to the Assembly Supervisors if required. Understands and follows any environmental regulations and identifies any safety / environmental concerns to the PM / PE and the Installation Manager / Supervisor. Understands and follows all safety regulations and identifies safety concerns. Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.
At Customer Facility : Works with Plant Safety and Security for egress of all personnel. Coordinates with the plant for possible storage areas and equipment unloading. If an office / machine trailer is required, works with the Facilities Group for all power requirements. Responsible for trailer setup, phones, printers, computers, desks, internet, and any other miscellaneous materials that may be required. Receives all equipment that ships to the customer site and verifies that there has been no damage to tooling being received at the customer facility; if there has been damage, follows company procedures for documenting it. Completes all necessary documents and submits to the Installation Manager / Supervisor if required. Works with the installation contractor and / or customer for all Client requirements, depending on who was awarded the installation. Ensures that all employees have proper ID and safety equipment for onsite work. Submits all employees' and contingent workers' time and expense documentation to the office on Monday morning for the previous week's work.
