Responsibilities Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital setting Care for critically ill cardiovascular patients in a Level 1 Trauma environment Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week Utilizes Epic EMR for patient documentation and charting Participates in patient / family education using SVI resources tailored to individual needs Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate patient care Expected to participate in performance improvement projects and quality initiatives Provides and receives constructive feedback as part of team-based care RTO (Requested Time Off) is limited to a maximum of 7 days per 13-week contract Returning travelers must have a 6-month break following 1 year of continuous assignment Travel partners are not accepted for this assignment Requirements Active Illinois RN license, temporary license accepted Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Current certifications : BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association Minimum of one year recent cardiovascular ICU nursing experience Documented experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting required Epic charting experience required Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609702.
