- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
