CVICU Nursing Job Details

Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (On-Site)

Location : Morristown, NJ 07960

Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Start Date : November 18, 2025

End Date : February 14, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36 (3x12 hour shifts)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2100 - $2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting

Direct experience caring for Cardiac Surgery patients

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)

Active New Jersey RN License

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required

CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification strongly preferred

Strong communication and computer skills

CVICU Nurse Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for CVICU patients using the nursing process

Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based clinical support in a critical care environment

Demonstrate professionalism, respect, involvement, dignity, and excellence in all aspects of nursing care

Provide safe, high-quality care to patients and their families in the Cardiovascular ICU

Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the healthcare team
