Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 22 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Neuro) - 13 Week Contract Schedule Day shifts, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) with on-call requirements. Every other weekend call coverage is required with no scheduled weekend shifts. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team specializing in Neurosurgery. This role involves taking care of patients undergoing various neurosurgical procedures, functioning independently, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Administer blood and blood products and manage specimen handling. Ensure infection control and safety procedures are adhered to, including Universal Protocol and radiation safety. Provide wound management and urinary bladder catheterization as needed. Assist in various neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies, lumbar fusions, and minimally invasive surgeries. Participate in emergency management and code response as required. Position patients appropriately for surgical procedures while minimizing risk and discomfort. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting, specifically with neurology and trauma. Active BLS certification required; other certifications preferred. Familiarity with EPIC charting system. Experience with trauma level II required; trauma level I preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
