Position Highlights :
- Competitive pay ranging from $24.42 - $35.95 / hour based on experience.
- Additional compensation for bilingual skills.
What You'll Do :
Maintain and update patient medical records including vital signs, treatments, and medications, as well as reviewing immunization records.Prepare for patient visits by ensuring files are updated, necessary reports are available, and collaborating with Providers for effective scheduling and continuity of care.Prepare and maintain exam rooms, explain procedures to patients, provide education and coaching, respond to patient questions and concerns, and assist physicians during exams and procedures.Collect and prepare lab specimens, administer medications, and perform other assigned clinical responsibilities.Qualifications :
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.Completion of an accredited medical assisting program (720 Medical Assistant training hours, including a 160-hour externship), approved apprenticeship, or equivalent military training.One year of experience as a CMA is preferred.Current CPR certification.National certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT required within 90 days of hire.Bilingual candidates (English / Spanish, Cantonese, or Vietnamese) qualify for a bilingual differential with a level 10 score on the language test.Medical knowledge to understand medical theories and practices.Strong interpersonal skills for handling diverse personalities and situations.Excellent multitasking abilities with varied workloads.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Epic, and EMR systems.Our Mission Statement :
