Job description : Substitute Teacher

Interact and engage with leaders of tomorrow. Maintain a high level of professionalism, a flexible schedule and gain experience working with children and teens in private and charter schools across Oahu for ECE / PreK - grade 12 classrooms.

Job Overview

We continue to seek dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teachers to join our Educational Services team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating students and the ability to create a positive classroom environment. As a Substitute Teacher in private and charter preschool - grade 12 schools, you will step into various classrooms, delivering lesson plans and ensuring that students continue to learn effectively. Preschool substitutes will support the lead teacher by effectively managing the children under their supervision. This role is essential in maintaining continuity in education and supporting the overall development of students.

Responsibilities

  • Implement lesson plans
  • Interact with students while fostering an engaging and inclusive classrooms
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively
  • Communicate with students clearly and effectively
  • Assist with classroom activities
  • Support students with learning differences and diverse learners
  • Maintain an organized classroom environment
  • Collaborate with school staff

    • Requirements

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with school community
  • Familiarity with private school environments is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various classroom settings and grade levels.
