Event Planner

Job Description

• Establishing project plan with milestones for assigned event
• Provide weekly / bi-weekly updates to events team (location(s) researched, quotes received – prepared in a cost comparison spreadsheet)
• Provide written recommendations, pros and cons
• Experience using (Qualtrics, WebEx, Windows operating systems)
• Ability to work on or lead team(s) as needed
• Identifying venues, inspecting potential locations, determining site specifications and requirements
• Determining room setup, developing room diagrams, coordinating logistics for staging and equipment
• Identifying A / V equipment needs, e.g., lighting, sound, audiovisual, working with vendor to establish setup and strike schedules
• Determining food and beverage service requirements, select menus, establish service times, duration, and breakdown
• Assisting with the approval process for the use and scheduling of multi-purpose rooms and lunchroom
• Coordinating talking points and other actions needed for Senior Leadership event participation
• Assisting with other events management duties as assigned
