The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families.
The Registered Professional Nurse assesses patient needs and develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Direct care is provided, and patient progress is evaluated while coordinating care delivery throughout the patient's episode.
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse develops specialized skills in caring for patients admitted for medical conditions.
Care is provided to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical issues.
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is accountable for patient and family education to help them understand self-care beyond hospitalization.
This includes lifestyle changes to support health and healing.
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment.
Nursing knowledge and skills are applied in the delivery of care.
Patient and family needs are assessed through active listening and analyzing data obtained through observation, technology, or team communication.
An individualized plan of care is created that is developmentally, culturally, and age-appropriate to address identified health problems.
Goals are set in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team members, and patient progress is monitored.
The plan is adjusted based on patient response or changes in condition.
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse promotes, advocates for, and protects the health, safety, and rights of the patient.
