Job descriptionBoard Certified or Board Eligible(within 5 years of training) -REQUIRED IA license or IMLC - REQUIRED BLS or ACLS - willing to obtain Must be local (no flights)- REQUIRED Iowa Medicaid enrolled -PREFERRED Availability 2-4 weeks per month, starting mid-June -REQUIRED Need to be able to see new patients and follow ups At least 12 patients per day No procedures Treatments required : We also do bone density in this clinic. We do have a stand alone cancer treatment center within a few blocks, so cancer patients can be referred there for specific cancer treatments, but would follow up with endo for ongoing care. Must be willing to prescribe anti-obesity meds (phentermine, Topamax, wegovy, etc) along with the following patients (via labs an / or visits) for drugs such as methimazole and levothyroxine. A lot of diabetic patients. We have diabetic educators that can assist with education and sensor downloads. Diabetes, cushings, graves, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, parathyroid carcinoma, adrenal cancer, thyroid cancer EMR : EPIC
