BrightStar Care is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team, which is responsible for the foundational infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience across our healthcare technology solutions. This role blends people leadership with technical strategy, focusing on DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and enablement of Engineers across teams. Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development : Manage and mentor a team of platform engineers, SREs, and DevOps specialists through hiring and career development. Foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and high performance.
• Technology Strategy & Execution : Define and drive the execution of the platform engineering roadmap, aligning infrastructure and reliability goals with product and business objectives. Lead strategic initiatives around scalability, observability, and automation.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Management : Oversee the design and implementation of cloud-native infrastructure, including container orchestration (AKS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep), and serverless components.
• DevOps & CI / CD Enablement : Champion modern DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies that accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) : Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
