As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting a secure environment for all individuals on site. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.

Communicate and collaborate with site staff and local law enforcement as needed.

Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.

Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to promptly address security-related concerns.

Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
