Skills and Competencies

• 12+ years of experience assessing financial institutions' risk across key dimensions
• Extensive understanding of US banking and regulatory frameworks
• Experience as a banking regulator or conducting similar analysis is required, with knowledge of asset risk, capital, and liquidity requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in financial data analysis
• Highly organized and efficient, able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency

Our Financial Institutions Group team is responsible for delivering high-quality credit ratings and research across the banking sector. We contribute to Moody's mission by enhancing transparency, supporting investor confidence, and promoting financial stability. For US-based roles only : the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $198,300.00-$287,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
