About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular & Thoracic Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland beginning Nov 1, 2025. This opportunity offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, with four 10-hour shifts per week. The role involves perioperative care, including post-op management, procedures, and working with a collaborative surgical team.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide perioperative care for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical patientsConduct post-operative management including central line, arterial line, chest tube, and wound care vac proceduresPerform vein harvesting using the Vasoview hemopro systemAssess and document interval history and physicals for OR patientsCollaborate with surgeons and OR staff to optimize patient outcomesUtilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient managementAdditional Information
Minimum three years of experience requiredMust have CV OR experienceProficiency with vein harvesting using the Vasoview hemopro system requiredBoard certification requiredACLS, BLS, and CSR licenses requiredDEA registration requiredOpen to candidates eligible for Maryland licensureBenefits
