Currently we contract operate more than 50 facilities nationwide. Woodard & Curran draws on the experience of hundreds of certified operators across the country, backed by the knowledge and skills of hundreds more engineers, scientists, and regulatory experts, to quickly tackle the most challenging operational issues and keep treatment plants running efficiently and in full compliance.

Woodard & Curran is growing, and we are looking for qualified Operations & Maintenance Technician in Bushnell, Florida! The Operations & Maintenance Technician regularly participates in the daily operations and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager. Schedule : Normal work schedule is 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm Monday thru Friday. Must be able to perform on-call duties at least once a month for after-hours emergencies. Must be able to work overtime and after hours as required by manager, including weekend staffing and holidays as scheduled.

What would you be doing at Woodard & Curran?

• Monitor water treatment plant processes, splash pad operation, and equipment both manually and via SCADA automation, making adjustments as necessary to control their operation.
• Monitor groundwater extraction wells with inspections and daily sampling as required.
• Perform water quality sampling, testing, and analysis and record results.
• Monitor and maintain the wastewater collection system.
• Troubleshooting and perform repairs of plant equipment, including preventive maintenance duties.
• Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and maintaining all necessary records.
• Perform general maintenance duties of plant and other assigned duties as directed by Chief Operator.
• Monitors and maintains the stormwater collection system.
• Assists in operation of assigned treatment, mechanical and electrical equipment and other similarly related facility components and equipment.
