Internship Office Assistant Coordinator
The Internship Office at Ensign College is seeking a highly organized and proactive student employee to assist the PBI Coordinator in managing and improving the Project-Based Internship (PBI) Program. This position involves administrative support, coordination efforts, and marketing responsibilities to enhance student participation in the program.
The PBI Assistant Coordinator will work closely with TAs, students, and external partners to ensure smooth program operations. While they will not serve as a Teacher Assistant (TA), they will support TAs and assist with related tasks as needed. Additionally, this role will take a leadership position in marketing and recruitment efforts to increase class enrollment.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the PBI Coordinator in all aspects of program management and execution.
- Help maintain organization, tracking, and communication for the program.
- Provide support to TAs in their responsibilities and assist in training when necessary.
- Assist in monitoring project progress, deadlines, and reports.
- Support international students in completing the necessary steps for CPT approval, ensuring they have everything required to legally work with companies.
Marketing & Recruitment for the PBI Program :
Lead recruitment efforts to attract more students to the class.Plan and execute advertising strategies to increase on-campus enrollment.Actively participate in tabling events, info sessions, and outreach activities.Create and manage marketing content for promotional initiatives.Update and maintain the PBI program's website to ensure accurate and engaging information is available.Ensure the website reflects the latest program details, student testimonials, and success stories.Support other marketing efforts to improve awareness and participation in the class.Qualifications :
Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits (3 per block) and in good academic standingStrong organizational and multitasking skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Experience or knowledge in marketing and student recruitment is a plus.Good communication and collaboration skills.Familiarity with website management and updates is preferred.Willingness to learn about program processes and contribute innovative ideas.Understanding or willingness to learn about the CPT process for international students to help facilitate compliance with work eligibility requirements.Application Instructions :
